How to Use STRA AI’s Dubbing Feature — A Simple Guide for Everyone

🔹 Step 1: Go to STRA.AI
First, open your browser and visit https://stra.ai. Make sure you’re logged into your account.
🔹 Step 2: Click on “AI Dubbing” from the Menu
Once you’re on the homepage, click on the “AI Dubbing” tab at the top navigation menu. This will take you to the dubbing tool’s main page.
🔹 Step 3: Choose Your Upload Method
On the AI Dubbing page, you have two simple options:
- Upload your own video from your computer
- Paste a YouTube link to dub an existing video
In this tutorial, we’ll explore both.
🔹 Step 4A: Upload a File from Your Device
Click on “Upload File” to open the file submission window. Follow the on-screen instructions and click the “Upload” button after selecting your file.
Once uploaded, the system will begin processing your video.
🔹 Step 4B: Paste a YouTube Link
Alternatively, go back to the main dubbing page and paste your desired YouTube link into the input box. Then click on “Create AI Dub.”
The system will analyze the video and move to the next step automatically.
🔹 Step 5: Choose the Language You Want to Dub Into
Once your video is uploaded or linked, you’ll be taken to the language selection screen. STRA AI supports over 30+ languages!
Select your target language from the dropdown menu.
Below, you’ll notice a checkbox that says: “Check if the video has voice only.”
If you select this, STRA will skip background music and voice separation for faster processing.
🔹 Step 6: Click on “Generate” and Wait
Once you’ve selected the language click on the “Generate” button. STRA AI will now generate a dubbed version of your video using AI voice technology.
The process may take a few minutes depending on video length. Once it’s done, you’ll get a notification via email, and you can access our editor. So, just sit back and relax.
🔹 Step 7: Fine-Tune Your Dub in the Editor
Once your dub is generated, STRA AI takes you into the editor interface, where you can preview and polish your results.
In the editor, you’ll see two columns:
- 🗒️ Original script (left)
- 🌐 Dubbed translation (right)
🎧 Preview both versions — the original and the AI-dubbed — directly in the interface, just click on the text box you want to preview and play the video.
✏️ Want to make changes?
- Click on any sentence to edit the original or translated script
- Press “Generate” to apply updates
⏱️ Need to fix timing?
- Adjust timestamps to ensure natural flow and avoid any sync issues or voice overlaps
Once satisfied, you’re ready for the final step!
🔹 Step 8: Preview, Download, and Use Your Files
After processing:
- Click “Preview” to check your final version
- Click “Download” to see the credit cost
- Hit “Use Now” and voilà! 🎉
STRA AI will give you:
- ✅ Your dubbed video
- 🎧 An audio-only file
- 📝 A subtitle file (SRT)

Once done, your dubbed video will appear on your project dashboard. From here, you can:
